Unit 1: Verb to be , affirmative and negative form

                                                                   VERB TO BE 


- We use the verb to be :

  * to talk about people, animals, places, etc.
  * to describe people, things, etc.
  * to say how old people are.
  * to say how we fell.
  * to say what our job is.



- Affirmative form:
      LONG FORM:

- Examples:

  * I'm Alex.

  * This car is very noisy.

  * She's seven years old.

  * He's a destist.

  * We are students.

- Negative form:

  * En la imagen mostrada vemos como es la forma negativa del verbo to be y sus posibles formas de escribir (contracciones).




- Examples:

  * She isn't a student.

  * We're not friends.

  * I'm not seventeen years old.

  * You aren't a good friend.
